The progressive cavity pump is a volumetric hydraulic operating machine, which operates thanks to a tested mechanism composed of an eccentric stainless steel screw and a stator internally coated in plastic material. The rotation of the screw inside the stator creates a series of hermetic spaces which are moved along the suction-delivery axis, thus creating the pumping action.
